Subhro Bhaduri

Subhro Bhaduri is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Aditya Birla Capital Ltd since 2014. The Aditya Birla Capital is a diversified financial services conglomerate which has a significant presence across various business including life insurance, insurance booking, NBFC, asset management, online personal finance management, private equity, wealth management, retail broking and distribution of third party products. Since 2014, Subhro and his team have played a pivotal part in the rapid growth of the Aditya Birla Capital’s group of businesses. Aditya Birla Capital during this tenure has not only consolidated its leadership position in various segment such as Life Insurance, Asset Management, NBFC etc. but also has launched various new lines of business such as Health Insurance, Retail Lending, Housing Finance, Digital Lending, Asset Reconstruction, etc. During this time period Aditya Birla Capital has also been recognized for its people practices by various industry bodies such as being featured in Great Places to work study in 2016, ranked as the second best firm in financial services to work for in a study by Business Today in 2018, Awarded by ATD for Best Talent Development practices and many more accolades.

Subhro in his earlier role was the HR Head at Kotak Mahindra Bank. He led the HR mandate during the growth and expansion phase of Kotak Mahindra Bank from 2005 onwards till 2014. Subhro started his career with Shaw Wallace and Company Ltd as a Management Trainee and grew up to the role of Head HR and IR for the firm.

Subhro has 30 years of rich experience in the domains of HR and IR with focus on Change management, developing human capital best practices, building enterprises with scale and quality and Industrial relations in the manufacturing & financial services industries.

 

Subhro has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Calcutta University,  Post Graduate in Human Resources from Xavier Institute of Social Services and Master's degree from INSEAD, Singapore in Consulting and Coaching for Change (Clinical organization Psychology).
