Dr Ameya Kulkarni-Kanakiya<\/b>\u00a0is an\u00a0Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, a Menopause Specialist,<\/b>\u00a0and a coach. She is also the Co-founder of Elda Health, a digital wellness platform for midlife women.<\/p>\n
Dr. Ameya has completed her post-graduation from the prestigious institutes\u2014Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, Mumbai, and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune.<\/p>\n
She has helped hundreds of women manage their pregnancy and postpartum journeys safely and with compassion and care. She believes that an obstetrician\u2019s job does not get over when the baby is delivered and continues to provide support to women throughout their postpartum period as well.<\/p>\n
Dr. Ameya also realizes that it is important to take care of a woman\u2019s health through different phases, starting from adolescence until old age, and not just during the child-bearing years.<\/p>\n
She also realises the absence of care and lack of information on a critical stage, such as menopause,e for women. She believes that menopause could well be the best time in a woman\u2019s life, if we can help to give her get all the support she truly deserves, to be given that can help her live a healthy and joyful life instead of silently suffering health issues that have been generalized. \u00a0It is well known that women can contribute to their family and society only when they are healthy themselves.<\/p>\n
