Easter lunch however can disrupt your <strong>healthy diet<\/strong> and give your kids a sugar high. You can make Easter Sunday healthier by cutting down on some of the main courses, adding a <strong>fresh salad<\/strong> and more vegetables to the menu, and trying these healthy treat recipes.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"sugar_free_marzipan_eggs\"><\/a><strong>2. Sugar-Free Marzipan Eggs<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive aligncenter lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.adityabirlacapital.com\/healthinsurance\/active-together\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Sugar-Free-Marzipan-Eggs-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the traditional Easter treats in India is the marzipan Easter eggs. Here\u2019s how to make a healthier version of the sweet:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup almond flour<\/li>\n<li>Rosewater (as required)<\/li>\n<li>Stevia powder (to taste)<\/li>\n<li>Food colouring or natural food colours (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Add the almond flour and stevia in a mixing bowl as per your taste. Add rose water a little at a time till you can form a smooth dough. If you like you can divide your dough into three portions and add different food colours. Form into Easter eggs of any size you like.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"granola_bunnies\"><\/a><strong>3. Granola Bunnies<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive aligncenter lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.adityabirlacapital.com\/healthinsurance\/active-together\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Granola-Bunnies-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can try this easy Easter recipe with your kids. Make the <strong>granola<\/strong> at home with equal parts rolled oats, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds, and raisins, or you could buy it from a shop.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 cups Granola<\/li>\n<li>Honey (as required)<\/li>\n<li>Bunny cookie cutter<\/li>\n<li>Baking tray<\/li>\n<li>Parchment paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Place the granola in a bowl and slowly add the honey stirring as you do. The granola will start to get clumpy. Take a little and press it into a ball. If it holds its shape then stop adding honey. Add a little more honey if it is still falling apart. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Pack a half-inch layer of the granola mixture in a baking tray and refrigerate for 2-3 hours till they set. Use the cookie cutter to cut out Easter bunny shapes when it\u2019s time to serve.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"dark_chocolate_fruit_cups\"><\/a><strong>4. Dark Chocolate Fruits Pops<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive aligncenter lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.adityabirlacapital.com\/healthinsurance\/active-together\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Chocolate-pop.jpg\" alt=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dark chocolate is healthier than milk chocolate and <strong>fruits<\/strong> are always good for children.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>1 banana<\/li>\n<li>1 apple<\/li>\n<li>Any other seasonal fruit<\/li>\n<li>Chopped nuts<\/li>\n<li>Wooden skewers<\/li>\n<li>Tray lined with parchment paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Place the chocolate in a glass bowl and microwave for 10 seconds. Stir it till it dissolves into a smooth batter. If it hasn\u2019t melted yet, microwave it for another 5-10 seconds. Don\u2019t let it overheat or it will become a solid mass. Chop the apple, banana, and <strong>other fruit<\/strong> into cubes, skewer them and dip in the melted chocolate till fully coated.
