Also, chop the seedless dates and dry coconut pieces to fine pieces.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dry roast the chopped nuts separately for 1-2 minutes. Ensure that they do not get burnt. Remove them and keep them aside on a plate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dry roast the coconut pieces until they turn slight brown in color. Keep them aside. In the same pan, add the poppy seeds and roast them slightly until they start popping. Keep them aside as well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heat <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ghee<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the same pan and add chopped dates and raisins. Saut\u00e9 continuously to prevent the raisins from getting burnt and until the mixture comes together to become a thick mass. This might take around 4-5 minutes. Let it cool slightly after that.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grind the roasted nuts with dry coconut pieces and poppy seeds. You can grind them either to a coarse powder or keep them in small pieces. Remove the mixture aside to a plate. Do the same for the date-raisin mixture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add both the mixtures into the same pan and mix nicely. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the mixture becomes slightly sticky and hold the dry fruit mixture nicely.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove the mixture to a plate and let it cool slightly.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make gooseberry-sized balls out of it and mold it into the shape of a <\/span><b><i>modak<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Add the ground rice and bring it to a boil again.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lower the heat and simmer, stirring at all times, till the whole thing becomes one well-blended mass. Add the cardamom and the alternative for sweeteners.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pista<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> paste to the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">phirni<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, pour it into the serving bowl, garnish it with almonds and refrigerate. Serve it chilled.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong id=\"Sattu-cashew-barfi\"><i>Sattu<\/i><b> cashew <\/b><b><i>barfi<\/i><\/b><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Ingredients &#8211;\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">250 gram <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chana sattu<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 gram <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ghee<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">175 gram powdered coconut <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sugar<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15-20 finely chopped cashew nut<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 teaspoon cardamom powder<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Method-<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heat <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ghee <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in a wok on medium heat. Saut\u00e9 and stir continuously until it releases an aromatic flavor.
