Ramesh Narayanaswamy is the Chief Technology Officer at Aditya Birla Capital.
He is in-charge of the strategy, planning, execution and support of all technology initiatives across the Aditya Birla group of companies. In line with Aditya Birla Capital’s Vision for Growth and Customer Focus, Ramesh spearheads the building of One Technology Team with engineering and innovation expertise at scale to solve business problems.
Ramesh is a career technologist with more than 25 years of experience in architecting and building large-scale systems across banking, e-commerce and logistics, financial services and technology product companies worldwide. Ramesh brings in knowledge and execution focus across both legacy and modern technologies thus helping organizations to digitally transform at scale to support new business models.
Ramesh started his career working for the Citibank Global Cards Convergence Program and subsequently has held leadership roles in Standard Chartered Bank as their Global Head of Technology Solution Delivery for Retail bank; Group Chief Information Officer at the Singapore Post Limited, Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer at CIMB Bank Berhad.
Prior to joining Aditya Birla Capital, he was the Director for Asia for High-Tech Payment Systems, an innovative payments company where he helped them setup and build the Asia business and delivery teams.
Ramesh holds a dual degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India and MBA in Strategy from the Nanyang Business School, Singapore.
