Sanchita Mustauphy is the Chief Risk Officer at Aditya Birla Capital Limited. She is in-charge of overseeing the governance and risk management processes and identifying potential risks which may lead to enterprise risk and capital call.
She has over 27 years of experience in strategic planning, implementation, and risk management practices. Prior to joining Aditya Birla Capital, she worked with the Tata Group for over 17 years, across its various businesses including Tata Motor Finance Limited and Tata Capital Financial Services Limited. In her last assignment, she served as the Chief Risk Officer in Tata Capital Limited.
In her earlier stints, she was associated with the ICICI Bank, Citi Group and Neotia Ambuja Group.
Sanchita has been an external assessor of the Business Excellence Model, based on the Malcolm Baldridge Model of Excellence, and has assessed various companies on their business excellence framework, based on the Excellence Model.
She is a qualified Cost Accountant with a PGDBM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. She also holds an MS in Risk Management (MSRM) from the NYU Stern.
