- Step 1: Visit the official website of NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) to file your UPI complaint.
- Step 2: Next, navigate to 'What we do’ and select the ‘UPI’ option.
- Step 3: Click on the ‘Dispute Redressal Mechanism’. You will be directed to the ‘UPI Dispute Redressal Mechanism’ webpage.
- Step 4: Scroll down to see the ‘Complaint’ section. Select the type of complaint from the options provided. These include ‘Transaction’, ‘PIN’, ‘Account’, ‘Registration’, ‘SMS’, ‘Login’, and ‘Others’.
- Step 5: Mention the relevant details asked for, including bank name, transaction ID, UPI ID, email ID, etc. Also, share your mobile number and attach your updated bank account statement.
How to Register a UPI Complaint on BHIM UPI?
You can also register a UPI complaint through BHIM UPI. The process is equally simple and can be completed quickly. There are two ways through which you can register your complaint, namely, via the website or the application.
BHIM UPI Website
If you want to report your issue through the BHIM UPI webpage, here are the steps to follow:
- Step 1: Visit the ‘ Get in Touch ’ webpage.
- Step 2: You will see different complaint types on your screen. For example, issues related to cashback/rewards, transactions, PIN, etc.
- Step 3: Go to the complaint type that you want to report and describe your issue in the comment box.
- Step 4 : Share the relevant details like bank name, VPA, email ID, registered number, etc. and submit the complaint.
BHIM UPI Application
Alternatively, you may use your BHIM UPI application to report the issues faced. Here are the steps:
- Step 1: Open your BHIM UPI application and navigate to the ‘raise a complaint’ option.
- Step 2: Select the transaction for which you want to report a complaint.
- Step 3: Next, select ‘raise concern’, share the required details, and submit your complaint.
Types of UPI Complaints
