*1 Activ Dayz = Walking 10,000 steps daily or burning 300 calories a day or 30 min gym session at any of our affiliated gyms across the country.

HealthReturns™ can be used to pay your premium from the first renewal of your policy. Furthermore, they can be utilised for buying medicines or for surgical interventions which are not covered due to a waiting period or exclusions as per the policy documents.

Binge Refill

Your policy will be your friend in times of need with the Binge Refill feature. If your Sum Insured, inclusive of the accumulated No Claim Bonus/Super No Claim Bonus is exhausted/insufficient for covering a claim, we will provide a 100% complete refill of the Sum Insured, unlimited times, for any illness/injury covered as per your policy documents.

Upfront Good Health Discount

Here’s our unique way of welcoming you to the Aditya Birla Health Insurance family – an upfront 10% good health discount. All you need to do is complete your Health Risk Assessment on our Activ Health App. This discount is available only once, at the time of purchasing your first policy from us.

Early Bird Discount

If you’re under the age of 35 years at the time of inception of your policy, you will be eligible for an Early Bird Discount:

- 5% discount from the 4th policy year to the 7th policy year.
- 10% discount from the 8th policy year onwards.

Maternity Expense Benefit

When you plan to bring a new life into the world, we will be by your side! Activ Fit health insurance plan will cover pre and post-natal maternity expenses, new-born baby expenses, vaccinations, and stem cell preservation.

Health Assessment

Measure your MER (Medical Examination Report) on demand including BP (Blood Pressure), BMI (Body Mass Index) HWR, Smoking Status, Blood Sugar, and Total Cholesterol with a complimentary Health Assessment feature on our Activ Health app. On getting a Healthy Health Score, you will become eligible for multiple rewards.

No Claim Bonus

Get more coverage than your Sum Insured by getting rewarded for staying healthy. You can earn an additional 10% Bonus for each claim-free year with a maximum of up to 100% of your sum insured.

Super No Claim Bonus

What to hear something super-duper cool? On having 2 consecutive claim-free years, we will reward you by doubling your Sum Insured.

Health Check-up Program

Do you also skip your mandatory annual health check-ups? We suggest you keep a tab on your health with a free health check-up, once per policy year, on a cashless basis.

In-Patient Hospitalization

Avail cashless cover for In-Patient Hospitalization across our expansive network of hospitals up to the Sum Insured for modern treatments, HIV/AIDS, STDs, and mental health.

In case of a planned treatment or a health emergency, which requires hospitalization for more than 24 hours, we will cover expenses like room rent, doctor’s fees, operation theatre expenses, medicines, drugs, and other consumables under the policy as per your eligibility. Room rent is available as per the Sum Insured opted for.

Pre and Post Hospitalization Medical Expenses

Expenses for consultations, medicines or diagnostic tests before your hospitalization or after hospitalization will be covered for up to 90 days before hospitalization and up to 180 days after discharge from the hospital, once the hospitalization claim is accepted by us.

Domiciliary Hospitalization

For times you consider taking medical treatment at home rather than a hospital, we would want you to receive the best quality treatment. Hence, with the Activ Fit health insurance plan for young adults , you can get covered up to Sum Insured for medical treatment at home for a period exceeding at least 3 consecutive days which would otherwise have necessitated hospitalization.

Daily Cash Benefit (Shared Accommodation)

If you’re insured under our Activ Fit plan, you will be eligible for a private room during hospitalization. But if you opt for a shared room, then we will provide you with a daily cash benefit for every 24 hours spent in the hospital.

Day Care Treatments

Due to advancements in medical science, certain medical procedures like a dialysis may not require a 24-hour hospitalization, we will cover you for such procedures as well. Covers all day care procedures up to your Sum Insured.

Home Treatment

Avail home care treatment expenses up to the Sum Insured for specific illnesses/injuries on a cashless basis. This is only to be availed through our network provider/empanelled service providers providing such facilities.

Road Ambulance Expenses

We will cover expenses incurred towards transportation by road ambulance to the nearest hospital with an adequate medical facility in case of an emergency when the ambulance services are provided by our network hospital. In case the hospital is not under our network, we will reimburse up to ₹3000 per hospitalization.

Organ Donor Expenses

All medical expenses for organ transplantation ranging from harvesting organs to transplantation surgeries will be covered as per the Sum Insured for the donor.

AYUSH Cover

Medical expenses incurred towards in-patient hospitalization under AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) treatment will cover reasonable and customary charges on a reimbursement basis.

Domestic Emergency Assistance Service

Like travelling? Sometimes when you end up travelling to remote locations where adequate medical facilities are not available, your Activ Fit plan will provide emergency medical assistance while you are travelling within India for 150 km or more away from your registered residential address.

Premium Waiver

We offer a premium waiver feature which you can use to have a premium-free year.
This can be used only once in the lifetime of your policy within 365 days from the date of the accident or diagnosis of the listed 20 critical illnesses during the policy period.

Travel Protect

Optional cover for fixed payout in case of total loss or delay of check-in baggage as well as trip cancellations, interruptions and delays or missed connecting flights, paid up to the limit defined in the policy schedule/product benefit table only once in a policy year.

EMI Protection

In uncertain times, we will certainly be with you. We will cover 3 EMIs towards any existing loan account if an insured person is hospitalized and the claim is admissible under In-Patient Hospitalization, under Section C.I. (a) or Day Care Treatment under Section C.I.(c) or Section C.I.(i) (AYUSH Cover) or Section C.I. (f) (a) Domiciliary Hospitalization or (f) (b) Home Treatment due to any illness/injury in excess of 6 consecutive days during the policy period while the policy is in force. These 3 EMIs will be paid as a lump sum amount post-discharge from the hospital. Sum Insured INR 10,000 to INR 1,00,000 (in multiples of 10,000). Selection of this optional cover will be on an individual basis, irrespective of the policy type.

Non-Medical Expense Waiver

This waiver safeguards you from extra expenses so that you can use any saved money towards a comprehensive treatment. This covers the cost of Non-Medical Items (listed under Annexure I of the Policy Wording).

This feature is available for In-Patient Hospitalization and Day Care Treatments.

OPD Expenses

During the policy period, if you incur any medical expenses for Out-Patient Consolations, we will cover them on a cashless basis through our Empanelled Service Providers in selected cities.

Waiting period

The policy tenure options are 1, 2, and 3 years.

- Individual Policy:

The minimum age at entry for adults is 18 years and for children is 5 years. The maximum age at entry is 45 years.

- Family Floater Policy:

For adults: the minimum age at entry is 18 years and maximum age at entry is 45 years.
For children: the minimum age at entry is 91 days and maximum age at entry is 25 years.

Relationships covered:

- Individual Policy:

Self, legally married spouse as long as they continue to be married, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandson, granddaughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephew, niece.

- Family Floater Policy:

Self, legally married spouse as long as they continue to be married, dependent children (up to 4).
Note: Son/daughter/child will include legally adopted child and step child. In case of a Family Floater policy, the premium will be calculated on the basis of the age of eldest member.
