What’s Covered?

16 major illnesses covered

We will cover medical expenses arising out of the insured person’s planned inpatient care outside India for the listed 16 major illnesses on cashless basis.

In-patient hospitalization Outside India

For a planned treatment abroad, you get cashless cover for expenses like room rent, doctor’s fee, operation theatre fee, medicines and drugs.

Post-hospitalization medical expenses

For expenses incurred on medicines and diagnostics after 30 days of your discharge from any hospital in our network outside India.

Repatriation of mortal remains

In the unfortunate case of the death of the insured person abroad while undergoing the treatment for a listed illness, we shall reimburse the actual costs of repatriation of mortal remains as per the eligibility to his/her permanent address for a local burial or cremation at the place where death has occured.

Waiting period

Initial Waiting Period (not applicable in case of an accident & subsequent renewal): 30 Days 2 Year Waiting Period for specific illness Pre-existing Illness waiting period 24 / 36 months (any one of these can be selected while buying the policy).
