Once you have made your moisturiser, you can follow this daily routine:

1. Cleanse Your Skin Gently

Use lukewarm water to wash your face and take a shower. For your winter season skin care, use a mild facewash suited for dry skin. Wash your face only twice daily if possible. When taking a shower, avoid very hot water as this could also dry out your skin. Use a moisturising shower gel instead of soap and finish your shower as soon as possible.

2. Moisturise Your Skin

Use a good quality or your homemade moisturiser as part of your winter skincare routine. Moisturiser should be applied only once in the morning and once at bedtime. After washing your face, pat it dry with a towel and apply the moisturiser immediately. You should also use a good-quality body lotion after a warm shower. Don’t rub the lotion into your skin but gently apply it all over. These hydrating foods can also help keep skin moisturised.
