Being stuck at home during the lockdown can affect our mental health. The best way to feel more positive is to look at this time as an opportunity to take care of yourself and do something you enjoy. Making a schedule and sticking to it is the first step to improving how you feel.
In your schedule, be sure to include time to try something new. You can paint, play an instrument, or enjoy a good book. Experimenting with cooking and baking is a nice way to spend time, especially with kids. Learn to eat fruit with all your senses, admire the vibrant colour, smell the aroma, and savour the taste.
If you have kids, make up some fun new games to play with them so that you can all enjoy yourselves and bond as a family. Meditate for a few minutes before bed to help calm your mind and try to get enough sleep so that you are well-rested.
