The lockdown has increased screen time for most of us. Eating the right food can help protect our eyes from damage by providing us with the proper nutrition to maintain good eye health.

In this video, Suman shows us how to make a spinach and dal masala dosa. The recipe uses carrot and beets along with the potato for the filling, making it rich in beta carotene, nitrates, and vitamin C. The veggies are sautéed together and kept aside. The dosa is made with soaked moong dal and steamed spinach which is blended to make the batter. Once the dosas are cooked the filling is added and they are ready to be served.

These dosas can also prevent the onset of macular degeneration which is an age-related eye condition. Read more such health & wellness blog articles. Also check out Suman Agarwal’s Summer Breeze & Mock Mayo Sandwich Recipes
