HealthReturnsTM

Our policy rewards you for staying fit and healthy and these rewards are accumulated in the form of HealthReturns. You can start earning HealthReturns by completing the following steps:

Complete a health assessment which as a result provides you a healthy heart score
Start exercising to earn Activ Dayz
Earn HealthReturns monthly based on the accumulated Activ Dayz and your Healthy Heart Score

You can use these HealthReturns for something as small as getting medicines for a fever or even for a surgery that is not covered due to a waiting period or exclusion in the policy. Furthermore, you can use HealthReturns for paying your premium from the 1st renewal of the policy.

Post-hospitalization Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy after hospitalization has become an important part of health recovery process. Identifying this need, you can be ensured that your medical expenses incurred for physiotherapy post hospitalization can be availed on reimbursement basis. To enjoy this benefit, you need written prescription for physiotherapy by the treating medical practitioner as a Medically Necessary Treatment

Domestic / International Emergency Assistance Services (including Air Ambulance)

We travel on work or sometimes to get away from our busy lives and sometimes we may end up going to places that are remote. In such cases where an adequate medical facility is not available and you need medical help, we will help you reach such a medical facility and then take you back to your home

OPD Cover

We shall cover medically required consultations, visit(s) to a Medical Practitioner who is a qualified doctor and diagnostic tests which are incurred on an out-patient basis on cashless basis as per your plan’s eligibility.

Chronic Management Program

We know that you don't choose the illnesses that you get; they can happen to just about anyone. Illness like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and asthma can be controlled if proper medication and control is followed. Our team of specialists and doctors has designed a special program to help you control these conditions to keep you healthy. This includes consultation with medical practitioners, diagnostics tests

Premium Waiver

We understand you can be diagnosed with an unforeseen critical illness during the policy period. It may result in mental and financial stress. To help you sail through these tough times you can avail policy year premium waiver, for detection of listed illnesses for adults aged 18 years and above. This can be taken only once in the lifetime of the policy

Cumulative Bonus

If you have not made any claim a Policy Year and have successfully renewed the policy with us continuously and without any break, you will be eligible for Cumulative Bonus benefit. You can get up to 50% increase in your Sum Insured without an associated increase in premium, but maximum up to 100% of Sum Insured or up to INR 1Cr

Flexible Sum Insured

You have the flexibility to choose the sum insured with options from INR 10 lacs to INR 2 cr.

Pre-hospitalization Medical Expenses

You may incur expenses for consultations or diagnostic tests before your hospitalization, such costs will be covered up to 60 days before your hospitalization, where the hospitalization claim is accepted by the company

In-patient Hospitalization

If it is a planned treatment or an unforeseen emergency and you need to stay in the hospital for more than 24 hours, we will cover expenses like room rent, doctor’s fee, operation theatre expenses, medicines, drugs and other consumables under the policy as per your eligibility. You also have a choice to select your room category in the hospital

Critical Illness Cover

Developing a critical illness poses a greater risk. Besides the physical and emotional stress, a critical illness can drain you financially. Hence having a Critical Illness cover for up to 20 listed critical illnesses helps you overcome financial shortcomings. A short Survival Period is required of 15 days following the initial diagnosis of a critical illness. Initial waiting period of 90 days is applicable.

Post-hospitalization Medical Expenses

Due to advancements in medical science, certain medical procedures like a dialysis may not require a 24-hour hospitalization, we will cover you for such procedures as well

Day care Treatment

We will cover cost incurred towards transportation by road ambulance to a nearest hospital with adequate medical facility in case of an emergency.

Domiciliary Hospitalization

Covers medical expenses for medical treatment at home for a period exceeding three consecutive days which would otherwise have necessitated hospitalization.

Road Ambulance Expenses

We will cover cost incurred towards transportation by road ambulance to a nearest hospital with adequate medical facility in case of an emergency.

Organ Donor Expenses

We cover the medical expenses on harvesting the organ donor for organ transplantation.

Super Reload

We shall provide for a Reload of the Sum Insured, unlimited times during the Policy Year, for same and unrelated illness, in case the available Sum Insured is insufficient for covering a claim under the Policy

AYUSH In-patient Hospitalization

We will pay you for medical expenses incurred by you towards your in-patient hospitalization under AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) treatment

Mental Illness Hospitalization

We will cover the medical expenses incurred by you up to the Sum Insured towards in-patient hospitalization specifically for any Mental Illnesses. The mental illness needs to be clinically significant and should not be related to intentional self-inflicted Injury or attempted suicide by any means.

Obesity Treatment

The problem of obesity is commonly faced by many. We understand it holds you back from having a healthy physical and mental well-being. Through this benefit we help you cover medical expenses for Bariatric Surgery which is medically necessary, on the written advice of a Medical Practitioner. However, a prior approval should be taken from us before the Bariatric Surgery is performed and the minimum age for surgery is 18 years.

Home Care Treatment Expenses

You can avail treatment expenses at home up to sum insured for Illnesses / Injuries such as chemotherapy, dengue, gastroenteritis, hepatitis, peritoneal dialysis on a cashless basis. Only to be availed through our Network Provider / Empanelled Service Providers providing such facility.

Second E-Opinion on Critical Illness

When it comes to detection of a major illness such a cancer kidney failure or heart attack, then a second opinion is always helpful We understand that and provide you with a second e-opinion through a consortium of well qualified international specialists.

Health Check-up program

We provide a free health check-up for each adult once in a policy year customized to the life stage you are in

Dental Consultation and Investigations

You can avail cashless Dental consultation and investigation services at our network providers or empaneled service providers. This covers comprehensive oral evaluation, oral prophylaxis and cost of x-ray. All three services listed above shall be availed on a single appointment scheduled by us

Expert Health Coach

Our Expert Health Coach provides guidance on nutrition, fitness, medical counselling and tele consultation with Homeopathy doctor. Mental health counselling includes screening for mental health status and consultation sessions.

Modern Treatment Methods and Advancement in Technologies

Due to advancement in technologies, covers Modern Treatment methods like Robotic surgeries, oral chemotherapy, stem cell therapy and more as a part of in-patient hospitalisation or day care treatments.

Personal Accident Cover

Accident and injuries can strike out of the blue and disrupt your life adversely. With Personal Accident cover, you can live your life without worrying about such possibilities. For a small premium, secure yourself and your family from financial implications of fatal accidents. The payout will be as per the Sum Insured. Both Accidental Death and Permanent Total Disablement are covered under Personal Accident Cover.

International Coverage for Major Illnesses

Sometimes for a major illness, under medically necessary treatment you will be advised for an international treatment. We cover in-patient hospitalization expenses for 16 major listed illnesses. To avail the benefit, the treatment should be taken in a registered Hospital or clinic as per law, rules and/or regulations applicable to the country where the treatment is taken, and which is a listed Network Provider/ Empanelled Service Provider for the list of Network Providers, please visit our Empanelled Service Provider's website or contact us at our call centre on the toll free number specified in the Policy Schedule. This benefit is available with Sl of 3 Cr to 6Cr with base SI of 10L and above only.

Waiting period

The minimum age at entry under Activ Health – Platinum Enhanced is 91 days.

maximum age at entry – 65 years.

i. Family Floater Policy: 91 days (for dependent child) and 18 years (for adults).

Dependent Children from age

- 91 days to 5 years will be covered only if one adult is covered under family floater Policy.

ii. Individual Policy:

In case of an Individual policy, minimum age at entry is 5Yrs

Relationships covered:

a) Family Floater Policy: Self & legally wedded spouse, dependent children upto 3 (i.e. natural or legally adopted) between the age 3 months to 25 years.

b) Individual Policy: Self, legally married spouse as long as they continue to be married, son, daughter, mother, father, brother, sister, mother in-law, father in-law, grandfather, grandmother, grandson, granddaughter, son in-law, daughter in-law, brother in-law, sister in-law, nephew, niece.

A. Initial Waiting Period - 30 Days (not applicable in case of accident)

B. For Specified Disease or Procedure- 24 months

C. For Pre-Existing Disease- 36 months
