Who is covered?

Self, spouse, up to 4 children, up to 2 parents and 2 parents in law
Any claim directly or indirectly arising out of:

  • Sexually transmitted disease or HIV/ AIDS

  • Influence of intoxicating liquor and drugs

  • Suicide or attempted suicide, intentional self-injury

  • Congenital external diseases, defects or anamolies

  • Insured person committing any breach of law

  • Birth control procedures and hormone replacement surgery

You can choose to buy this Policy by paying a single premium, or you can choose premium payment on instalment basis. Monthly/quarterly/semi-annual instalment options are available for Policies with Policy Period of 1 year.

Yes, you can request for enhancement of Sum insured at the time of renewal. However, the enhancement is subject to underwriting decision.

You can avail a discount of 10% on premium on covering 2 or more family members in a single policy.

You can purchase the policy for yourself and include your spouse up to four children, and yours and your spouse’s parents

You need to submit the following documents to us within 30 days of occurrence of the event:

  • Completed Claim form
  • Medical certificate confirming the diagnosis of condition
  • Certificate confirming that the claim doesn’t relate to Pre-Existing Disease or any Illness/ Injury which was diagnosed within the first 90 days
  • Photocopy of indoor case papers (if applicable)
  • Photocopy of first consultation letter and subsequent prescriptions
  • Specific documents (if any) listed under the respective condition
