Enhanced ICU benefit

Get double your daily cash allowance amount when admitted in the ICU or for hospitalization due to a road accident, for up to 10 days per year.

Convalescence benefit

Stay covered for expenses incurred on recovery during hospitalization that exceeds 7 days.

Tax benefit

Avail tax benefit of up to Rs. 25,000 (Rs 50,000 for senior citizens) under section 80D of the Income Tax Act.

What’s Covered?

Ancillary cost coverage

Use your daily cash allowance to pay for expenses not covered by your regular health insurance plan.
Use the amount to pay for inadmissible hospital expenses such as needles, bandages, syringes, etc.
Use the amount to take care of your household expenses, or for any other purpose you seem fit.

Preserving No Claim Bonus

Keep your No Claim Bonus intact by using your daily cash allowance to pay for hospitalization expenses when the bill is not too high.
Avoid making a claim on your regular health insurance plan and continue to enjoy discounted premium rates as No Claim Bonus.

Parental accommodation benefit

In case of hospitalization of an insured of 12 years or less, get a benefit equal to 1 Daily Cash Benefit to arrange for parental accommodation
This benefit applies in case the hospitalization exceeds 72 hours.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum entry age : 55 years
Maximum entry age : 80 years

Dependents Eligibility

Self, Spouse (Max. 2 adults)

Treatment arising due to direct or indirect involvement in a war, civil unrest, or similar socio-political hostile situations, bio-hazards etc.
Committing or attempting intentional self-injury or attempted suicide or criminal breach of law.
Weight management programs or treatment of obesity, including morbid obesity.
Treatments that can be done on an outpatient basis and don’t need hospitalization.

Expenses for organ donor screening, and to the extent provided for in the treatment of the donor (including surgery to remove organs from a donor in the case of transplant surgery).
Any health check-up, or issuance of medical certificates and examinations for employment, travel or any other such purpose.
Unproven/ experimental treatment devices and pharmacological regimens.
Admission primarily for diagnostic purposes not related to illness for which hospitalization has been done.
