How to Apply for UTI PAN?

Here's a detailed step-by-step guide to help you through the process and enjoy the convenience of the UTI PAN service:

Online Application Process via UTI Website

  • Go to the UTIITSL PAN Card official website.
  • Under the PAN Card for Indian Citizens section, click the 'Click to Apply' option.
  • You will be redirected to a new page. Click 'Apply for New PAN Card' button.
  • Choose the mode of the PAN card: either Physical Mode (where a physical PAN card is delivered) or Digital Mode (e-PAN only).
  • Select the appropriate application status, such as Individual, LLP, HUF, etc.
  • Decide whether you need both a physical PAN card and an e-PAN or just an e-PAN.
  • Click 'Submit' to proceed.
  • A reference number will be generated for future reference until the application number is generated. Click 'Ok' to continue.
  • Enter your full name, date of birth, gender, office/residence address, and address for communication.
  • Enter your Aadhaar Number or Enrolment ID. Re-enter the Aadhaar number for verification.
  • Click 'Next Step'.

  • Provide AO Code, AO Type, Range Code, AO number, and representative assessee address details.
  • Upload the documents selected in the previous step.
  • Click 'Validation', followed by 'Submit' once the application is filled in.
  • Pay the application fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI, etc.
  • Save and print the application.
  • Attach copies of the supporting documents and affix two photographs of size 3.5cm x 2.5cm.
  • Submit the application form to the nearest UTIITSL office in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, or New Delhi.

Note: A 15-digit acknowledgement number will be issued to track the application status. The PAN Card is usually issued within 15 working days from the date of application.

If you prefer to apply for a PAN Card offline, follow these steps:

  • Download the PAN Card application form from the UTIITSL or UTI website or collect it from a nearby UTIITSL agent.
