As more and more people have started purchasing their own houses, the demand for home loans has gone up in recent years. Banks, NBFCs, etc. have begun offering home loans at attractive rates of interest, tailor-made for each’s requirements.

Application for a home loan can be submitted both online or offline. Once the application is submitted, you can track the home loan status using the following methods. For monitoring the application, you will need to keep some information handy like –
  • Name of the Applicant
  • Loan Application number
  • PAN Card number
  • Mobile number
  • Date of Birth

Offline Methods

Many people find it convenient to track their application status offline through phone calls or direct visits.

Customer Care

The applicant can call the customer care number, dedicated for loan status tracking, of the lending institution. Keep the information ready as you will have to provide them to the representative over the phone call.
For example, the loan status tracking number for Aditya Birla Housing Finance is 1800-270-7000.

Branch Visit

The applicant can visit the respective branch of the lender and meet with the designated officer to inquire about the status of the application.

Online Methods

Digitization has made accessing your application status a very seamless and secure experience. You can use multiple online methods to track your home loan status from the comfort of your home.

Email Id

The applicant can send a mail to the authorized mail ID of either the loan processing department or the customer care department. All the relevant information has to be mentioned in the email, and the applicant will be intimated of the status in the reply.

Official Website

The status of a home loan application can be easily traced using the official website of the lending institution. Go to the official website, and select the option to track the application. You will be prompted by the screen to input the Application number and PAN card number. Keep all the details ready, input them correctly, and click on Submit. The status of your home loan application will be displayed on the screen.

Net Banking

If you are an existing customer of the lending institution, you have the ease of applying and tracking the status of the application online. Just log-in to the net banking application, go to the loans section and check the status of your submitted application.
