Credit Linked Subsidiary Scheme (CLSS)
The CLSS scheme aims to increase the credit flow in institutions to handle the housing needs of the low-income population of urban areas. Besides, it focuses on the demand side of the affordable housing finance segment.The benefits of CLSS are available to those who belong to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Low-Income Groups (LIG), Middle-Income Group-I (MIG-I), and Middle-Income Group-II (MIG-II).CLSS benefits apply to housing loans for new construction and extending existing houses. Affordable Housing Partnership (AHP)
The third vertical of the PMAY-U is the affordable housing partnership with the public and private sectors. This PM Awas Yojana scheme applies only to those projects where at least 35% of the houses are for the EWS category and a single project has a minimum of 250 houses. The government will provide central assistance of ₹1.5 lakhs per EWS house in such projects.The states / UTs will decide the upper ceiling on the sales price of these EWS houses.
Beneficiary-led Individual House Construction or Enhancements (BLC-N/ BLC-E)
