The Aditya Birla Capital Foundation
The Aditya Birla Capital Foundation (ABCF) is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Aditya Birla Capital Limited, its subsidiaries and joint ventures. Guided by the Aditya Birla Group's vision of inclusive growth, the Foundation drives initiatives in healthcare, education, women empowerment and sustainable livelihoods. Operating across 13 states, ABCF positively impacts over 9.21 lakh people through programmes that address critical social and developmental needs. With women-centric initiatives at the heart of its strategy, the Foundation focuses on improving access to healthcare, enhancing educational opportunities, strengthening livelihoods and enabling underserved communities to thrive. 

Healthcare
Healthcare is a core focus area of our CSR strategy. In FY26, our healthcare interventions reached 6,38,962 beneficiaries, with women constituting approximately 70% of the total beneficiaries. Our initiatives span maternal and child healthcare, preventive healthcare measures such as anaemia control, mobile health clinics and mental health support, as well as teleconsultation-based healthcare services. We also support healthcare infrastructure enhancement and specialised care, including cancer care, cochlear implants and congenital heart disease treatment. 

Education
Education is a cornerstone of our CSR strategy, focused on improving access, learning outcomes and equitable opportunities for all. Our interventions span the learning continuum, from early childhood development and school education to higher education support and financial literacy, with a strong emphasis on girls' education and inclusive growth. 

Key initiatives include quality education in Anganwadi centres and Government schools, infrastructure development for better learning environments, scholarships for meritorious and underprivileged students, and financial literacy programmes for young citizens. 

Society


Sustainable Livelihoods & Women's Empowerment
Women empowerment and sustainable livelihoods are key pillars of our CSR strategy, focused on women in rural and underserved communities. Through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), support for women farmers, entrepreneurship development and financial literacy initiatives, we help build resilient and self-reliant communities. In FY26, these interventions impacted 1,17,884 beneficiaries. 

Our efforts include land and water management, modern agricultural practices, solar pumps, automatic weather stations, water body rejuvenation and agroforestry. Through Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), we strengthen farmer collectives and support small and marginal farmers across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Odisha, Manipur and Jharkhand.
