A workplace becomes meaningful when it allows you not only to grow, but also to lead, to shape, and to belong. At Aditya Birla Capital, I found that kind of space. I began my journey here in 2013 as a Deputy Manager in the Risk Management function, working in a highly technical and niche area of the business. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to understand not just risk management, but the broader financial ecosystem, from strategy and compliance to execution and business continuity. Each phase brought new challenges and sharper learnings.

Today, I serve as the Chief Risk Officer at Aditya Birla Pension Fund Management. Looking back, this journey has been deeply enriching. Finance has always been my passion, and ABC gave me an environment where I could enjoy my work while being continuously challenged to grow -  both professionally and personally. Leading independently in the early stages of my career demanded agility and resilience. While the learning curve was steep, those years became my foundation and shaped my approach to leadership.

A defining moment in my career came during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I was entrusted with ensuring business continuity for our life insurance operations. It was a high-stakes responsibility that required clarity, speed, and collaboration. The trust and support I received gave me the space to think, design solutions, and implement them bringing alive what it truly means to work as One ABC.

Today, I lead teams across both Life Insurance and Pension Fund businesses. I focus on building strong connections, creating an open environment, and giving people the freedom to explore ideas while staying grounded in strong fundamentals. 

Over the years, I’ve grown into roles I once aspired to without having to leave any part of myself behind. That’s the impact of an inclusive culture. And that, to me, is the true power of “Include as One.” One that respects, recognises, and enables people to lead authentically.
