Sonu Kumar’s resolved blood pressure concerns
My name is Sonu Kumar, and I started working at ABHI in June 2023. After my onboarding, I experienced a rise in blood pressure in December 2023. A fellow employee suggested I start a daily walking routine to help manage this health concern. At the time, I weighed 91 kg (in January 2024), so I set a goal to walk at least 5,000 steps daily starting January 31, 2024. Since April 2024, I have consistently met a goal of at least 10,000 steps per day, missing only two days in the past 11 months. This commitment earned me the Pulse Award in the “Vitalize” category for all FY 2024-2025 quarters. More importantly, the walking regimen contributed to a 19 kg weight loss, bringing me to 72 kg. Today, I’m in excellent health with no complications.
