Chronic illnesses can bring about lasting and serious health issues, affecting your well-being and financial stability. The Activ Health Platinum Essential plan offers immediate protection against listed conditions like high blood pressure and cholesterol. It goes beyond basic hospital coverage to take care of your needs.
She’s a career-oriented woman working as a marketing head for a big company in Mumbai.
Concerned about her health and the toll her sedentary lifestyle takes, she invested in Activ Health Platinum Essential Plan with a sum insured of ₹20 lakh. She also opted for the option to waive the mandatory co-pay.
A few years later when she woke up unable to breathe properly, she was admitted to the hospital for a hypertensive emergency. Turns out her blood pressure was very high.
Thankfully, her policy covered the expenses without her having to pay anything. Her cover to waive the mandatory co-pay also came in handy.
Her policy also helped her get on a Chronic Management Program with health coaches who have been helping her manage her blood pressure significantly.
No claims can be made during the initial waiting period.
No coverage for pre-existing diseases before the waiting period.
