Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cups whey protein powder
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk 
  • 2–3 tablespoons honey

Method:

Take a medium heavy pot, add the peanut butter, honey and milk together and cook over low heat. 

Once the ingredients are mixed well and warm enough add the oats and whey powder. Mix together. Grease a pan that is around 8×8 inches. Pour the mixture and press it down evenly. Once it cools down, cut into squares and your healthy, delicious protein bars are ready! 

2. Pumpkin Pie Protein Bar

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons raw pumpkin
  • ½ cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree
  • cup vanilla or pumpkin protein powder 
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions 

Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor. Leave the mixture a little bit chunky or process it till it is smooth. 

Take an 8 x 8 inches baking pan, line it with a sheet of parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the lined pan and press it down with the back of a wet spoon. Garnish the homemade protein bars mixture with the pumpkin seeds and coconut flakes, by sprinkling them on top.

Freeze this mixture for three hours and then cut into bars.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups raisins
  • 2 cups almonds
  • 2 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions 

Add the raisins, almonds, puffed rice and mix them.

In a saucepan stir honey and vanilla essence together and heat over medium-high heat, keep stirring it.

Once this mixture is warm, pour it over the raisin, almond and puffed rice mixture. 

Transfer this into a greased or lined baking dish and let it cool. Once cool cut into desired sizes and shapes.
