You will lead Investment Analytics for Aditya Birla Capital Digital (ABCD), owning the end-to-end analytics agenda across mutual funds, wealth, and investment products. This role will drive data-led decision-making across acquisition, portfolio growth, customer engagement, and advisory, with a focus on personalization and lifecycle value creation.
This is a leadership role requiring strong hands-on expertise in analytics/data science, combined with deep understanding of investment products and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build a high-performing team.

• ABCD is a wholly owned subsidiary established in 2023 to drive digital distribution and customer engagement across financial services
• It is building a D2C omni-channel platform (app + web) for seamless customer journeys across investing, lending, insurance, and payments
• ABCD enables cross-sell, digital servicing, and personalized engagement across channels including app, web, calling, and branches
• The team is focused on leveraging data, technology, and analytics to build a high-growth digital financial services platform
We are looking for a senior analytics leader with strong experience in investments (mutual funds, wealth, broking, PMS/AIF) who can drive growth and engagement through data-driven insights.
You will help ABCD unlock value in the investments business by:
• Driving acquisition and activation of investment customers
• Increasing AUM, customer stickiness, and portfolio depth
• Delivering personalized investment journeys and advisory
• Improving cross-sell between investment and other financial products
• Define investment analytics strategy across mutual funds, wealth, and advisory—aligning analytics initiatives with AUM growth, customer engagement, and revenue targets
• Drive acquisition & activation use-cases including investor onboarding, SIP conversions, first investment journeys, and reactivation of dormant users
• Build portfolio and lifecycle analytics frameworks covering segmentation, investor behavior, retention, churn, and lifetime value (LTV)
• Enable personalized investment journeys through Next Best Action/Offer (NBA/NBO), goal-based recommendations, and risk-profile-based product matching
• Develop and deploy ML models such as propensity-to-invest, SIP continuation likelihood, churn prediction, portfolio optimization signals, and product affinity
• Partner with product & advisory teams to embed analytics into investment journeys including portfolio insights, rebalancing nudges, and wealth recommendations
• Leverage AI-first approach including GenAI-assisted insights, intelligent dashboards, and conversational analytics for business teams (with strong governance and compliance)
• Drive AUM growth & engagement metrics through targeted campaigns, cohort strategies, and omni-channel activation (app, web, RM/tele-calling, partners)
• Design experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, cohort analysis) to optimize campaigns, nudges, and advisory interventions
• Collaborate with data engineering to build investment-specific datasets, customer 360 views, and scalable data models
• Define KPIs & reporting frameworks across funnel metrics (activation, SIP start, repeat investment), AUM growth, and campaign ROI
• Ensure regulatory & compliance adherence (SEBI guidelines, suitability norms, data privacy) across all analytics-driven decisioning
• Build and lead a strong analytics team, driving capability in investment analytics, mentoring team members, and setting high standards for delivery
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field
• 8–12 years of experience in analytics/data science with strong exposure to investment/wealth/mutual fund analytics
• Strong understanding of investment products, investor behavior, and wealth management journeys
• Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark; experience working on modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems
• Experience in customer segmentation, lifecycle analytics, campaign analytics, and personalization frameworks
• Familiarity with portfolio analytics, risk profiling, and investment advisory models is strongly preferred
• AI-first mindset, with exposure to GenAI or advanced analytics tools for business decisioning
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and drive execution end-to-end
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and influencing senior leaders
• Experience in building and managing analytics teams
• Be part of a fast-growing digital financial services platform within a strong enterprise ecosystem
• Own a high-impact charter in the investments space—directly influencing AUM growth and customer engagement
• Work across multiple business lines with rich datasets and omni-channel customer journeys
