To provide legal support to the Gold Loan business by advising on product structuring, branch operations, customer documentation, regulatory requirements, vendor contracts, and legal risk management. The role will ensure that business objectives are achieved within the applicable legal and regulatory framework while safeguarding the interests of the Company.

The role supports a geographically dispersed branch network and works closely with Business, Operations, Credit, Collections, Compliance, Risk, and external stakeholders to ensure legally compliant and efficient business execution.

? Review and advise on gold loan products, processes, and customer journeys. 

? Support business teams on branch operations, loan origination, disbursement, renewals, auction processes, and recovery matters. 

? Identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.


Documentation & Contract Management


? Draft, review, standardize, and negotiate: 

  • Gold Loan Agreements
  • Pledge Forms
  • Security Documents
  • Auction Terms & Conditions
  • Vendor and Service Agreements
  • Branch Lease Agreements
  • Empanelment Contracts
  • Customer Communication Templates

? Ensure documentation remains legally enforceable and aligned with regulatory requirements.


Regulatory & Compliance Advisory


? Advise business teams on: 

  • RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs
  • Fair Practices Code
  • KYC/AML requirements
  • Customer grievance management
  • Outsourcing guidelines
  • Data privacy and information security requirements

? Monitor regulatory developments impacting the Gold Loan business and drive necessary changes.


Legal Risk Management


? Assess legal implications of new products, processes, and initiatives. 

? Review policies, SOPs, and operational manuals from a legal perspective. 

? Support risk assessments and internal control reviews. 

? Develop preventive legal risk mitigation measures.
