Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for preparing financial statements of BSLAMC and submission to the shareholders for further consolidation as per the agreed reporting format. Handling fixed assets of the company by maintaining a register of fixed asset, computation of depreciation, preparing of advance and WIP schedule & organizing of physical verification of the assets

KRA2Supervise accounting of administrative expenseso Monitor accounting entries related to admin expenses such as rent, salary etc
o Monitor advance payments and update schedules on regularly basis
o Ensure that provision for admin expenses are updated regularly and follow-ups made to settle the same on time
o Update approval system with the latest DOA and highlight improvement areas
o Supervise the operations of approval matrix and handling audit of IT applications including accounting software.
o Handling assignments of data backup and drills.
o Monitor scope of accounting software and take note of additional requirements/ necessary improvements required for software up gradation.KRA3Handling physical assets of the companyo Monitor accounting & disbursement of fixed assets at HO & branches.
o Preparation of FA register (monthly basis), preparation of FA schedule & deprecation as per income tax schedule at periodic frequency.
o Computation of depreciation on fixed asset
o Regular physical verification of assets of branches
o Update admin function on movement and WDV of assets for insurance and disposal purpose
o Resolving query from internal department or branches relating to Fixed assets
o Settlement of all Capital advances
o Reconciliation of Assets with Wipro (annual activity)
o Extend support on IFRS regulations related to Fixed assetKRA4Preparing financials statemento Preparation of Financial Statements of BSLAMC as per accounting standard
o Updating financials in HFM system ABG.
o Co-ordinating with CFD-ABNL for proper disclosure of financials to be in line with group accounting policies.
o Ensure that format of the financials are timely updated as per regulator and accordingly change the groupings whenever possible.
o To prepare the quarterly variance analysis for income statement and balance sheet
o Monitor the accounting of provisions and keep log of closing entries
